[Xzana was finally convinced that the sudden and strange influx of humans was really done and began emerging from the bottom of the lake more and more. Between feeling less crowded and the heavy rain she is in a remarkably good mood.
She dances in the rain for a bit and climbs a few trees. Then finally checks out that strange book that is always following her around. She had been told it was magic, but being unable to read it's never been something she cared much about. That is until she realized it talks! Listen to all the different voices!
Huh, but then the voices pause. She gives the book a shake. Huh, how do you get this silly thing to work. She drops it on the ground and bats at it. Managing to turn the video function on by mistake. She bounces back and forth for the camera in the rain. Prodding the book now and then.]
Talk magic book! [She circles the book, waiting for it to respond.] Speak again! [She gives it a gentle shove before jumping back a bit and running from it a bit before coming back.] Are you tired, book?
[Today she is full of energy and wanting to play. She'll be in possibly the best mood if anyone feels like braving the heavy rain and spot her playing with the book near the lake.]

...and as he walked he found himself coming to the lake. Though the rain was heavy, he picked out a voice. Was someone... distressed? Stepping out, he could see that someone was jumping around in the rain, playfully pushing a book. The same journal they used to communicate with other in Luceti, perhaps?
Either way, he's not quite sure what to make of this, or the creature in front of him really. There were many strange beings in this place that resembled humans yet something seemed... different about them. Perhaps he'll just watch a while and see what happens.]
[Action]
As he watches he may pick out that there is something odd about the way she is put together. Besides the blue scales that cover parts of her body, claws, and her second set of large white wings. It's the fact that her limbs, ears, and lips are longer than they should be.
She also hadn't bothered to change out of her new feather dress, which has gotten rather torn and dirty over these past couple months.
No, the real oddity of it all is the fact that she isn't getting wet. Almost as if her body is absorbing the water into itself. Only her short black hair and dress seems to act as it should. Both wet and the one just a little bit see through.
[Action]
Hmm, he didn't like to interfere if he could help it, but he had been told to try to talk directly with others. So perhaps he'll come a little closer now, white and gold wings folded close against his body. Wait... how was she avoiding the rain? He pauses, tilting his head.]
What are you? [He asks outright.]
[Action]
The question doesn't phase her, even in her own world being a bit of an oddity.]
I am a half breed dragon. [That's all your going to get. That's all most people at home needed to know.]
[Action]
Now there was the matter of the book.]
Is something wrong with that journal? You are aware that the book itself does not speak, yes? Someone must have spoken from elsewhere first.

[Before he knows it, his steps have taken him all the way to a hill overlooking the lake. Someone is down on the shore - Don can't tell what they're doing, but it looks like fun.]
[He stands in the rain, making no move to seek shelter from either the downpour or from being seen.]
[Action]
As he watches this girl in her old, slightly torn and tattered (and see through!), new feather's dress is clearly not human. The second set of large white wings, claws, and blue scales being the biggest dead give away. However as he watches he may also notice that her limbs, ears, eyes, and mouth are slightly larger than most human type creatures.
Not to mention, besides her hair and dress, she's not getting wet at all.
Of course this can't last forever. At some point in her frolicking, Xzana finally catches sight on Don out of the corner of her eye and freezes.
Has he seen her? Xzana isn't exactly afraid of Kappas as she thinks she's staring at perhaps a half breed, as he doesn't look right, but she doesn't feel much like a fight right now. So she freezes, seeing if this demon will leave her territory or if she'll have to defend it.]
[Action]
[With that thought and the friendliest of intentions, Don starts walking down the hill towards Xzana.]
Re: [Action]
This is my lake, Kappa. [There are a few things Xzana wouldn't mind sharing the lake with. Possible demons are not one of them.]

I see. Then, they are not inside of the book? [That's not as fun.]

Yeah. It's spoken, orally. People pass on messages through speaking and gestures.

Oi! Xzana! Come back to the book, eh? Having fun in the rain?
[Voice]
Huh, wait a minute. HE MUST BE STUCK IN THE BOOK! She comes running back, but keeps a safe distance from the book she had no idea was evil.]
Are you alright!? How did you get trapped in there!? Are you stuck!?
[Voice]
Everyone in the village has one as long as they come from other worlds like us. It's like the shitty fake wings, only actually useful instead.
