[Xzana was finally convinced that the sudden and strange influx of humans was really done and began emerging from the bottom of the lake more and more. Between feeling less crowded and the heavy rain she is in a remarkably good mood.

She dances in the rain for a bit and climbs a few trees. Then finally checks out that strange book that is always following her around. She had been told it was magic, but being unable to read it's never been something she cared much about. That is until she realized it talks! Listen to all the different voices!

Huh, but then the voices pause. She gives the book a shake. Huh, how do you get this silly thing to work. She drops it on the ground and bats at it. Managing to turn the video function on by mistake. She bounces back and forth for the camera in the rain. Prodding the book now and then.]

Talk magic book! [She circles the book, waiting for it to respond.] Speak again! [She gives it a gentle shove before jumping back a bit and running from it a bit before coming back.] Are you tired, book?

[Today she is full of energy and wanting to play. She'll be in possibly the best mood if anyone feels like braving the heavy rain and spot her playing with the book near the lake.]

Yeah. Like, just how complex are your items at home. Do they cool everything on their own? Can they spontaneously combust? Can it serve a multitude of purposes? Does it just disintegrate whatever you put inside it into a mush? [ The last one is a blender! ]

The humans use wheels on their carts.

The humans? [ She catches onto that. Is this guy not a human? ]

What exactly are you if you aren't a human? [ Eep. Sudden wonder-filled curiosity goes here. ]

A dragon and a human? How is that possible? [ She knows what dragons are. Xzana, to Tenten, is as much of a dragon as she is a tree sloth. ]

[Xzana scoffs at that. Can the people here really not tell?] I never said that I was human. My father was from the water nymphs.

And then you somehow became part dragon even though your dad is a water nymph? [ She really has no clue what a water nymph even is. ]

[Xzana is about ready to give up on this hopeless human.] I did not say what my mother is, have I?

[ She's silent for a few seconds. ]

....No. You haven't. [ Clearly embarrassed. ]

She was a changeling dragon. [As she doesn't trust you to still get it.]

Do you really expect me to know what changeling means? [ ....She's just going to breach this trust. ]

Just because I don't know about changeling and dragons and whatever the hell else that's fictional in the books I read but exists in your world doesn't mean I'm dumb.
