[Xzana was not liking this new time period. Not from the lack of technology. In fact she liked less technology as it tended to just confuse and scare her in the end. It was from the cap on her powers. It leaves her feeling weak and worried if the droids are still in this time how much worse it will be to run into them. So once again she's trying to avoid falling into her hibernative state this winter.

So she finds herself now missing the technology. The way it kept the apartment she would claim for the winter warm so she'd stay awake. Fire is not something she had to worry about in the past. Xzana knew the basic idea of how it worked. You pile wood in a special area in the home and then... then... then she's not sure what to do next. Maybe the magic book knows!]

Humans. How do you create fire without magic? [She knows it's possible. She's seen humans do so in her own world. Oh wait! Wasn't it something about banging sticks together?]

BANG! BANG! BANG!

[Stupid fire.]

[The nice thing about not needing things is that when Xzana rips the clothes she was wearing while chasing after a fish she didn't care at all. It had eventually been pushed into her mind that humans liked it if she wore clothing, but she still didn't really understand why. So after her meal she had no problems ripping away what remained of her clothing, leaving the lake, and head towards town.

In her world it took a long time to make new cloths. That was one thing she liked about this place she could just go and pick up new ones when her's ripped.

Which is why there is a long limb girl walking naked through the town today. Her blue scales are covering her lack of belly button. Her chest is rather flat, but there is the start of breasts under the scales. Luckily perhaps for the young there is also nothing to show but scales below the belt. Without shame she marches her naked self into the clothing store and dresses herself in whatever is easiest to put on over her large white wings.

Dressed in a brown shirt and a dark purple halter top she exits the shop and walks towards the fountain. Without a thought she hops right in and sits down in it. Yup. Everything she's done today? Totally normal. She'll be happy to just sit and relax in the fountain for awhile. Feel free to come up and talk to her.]

[Today the journal opens up on a rather water damaged looking apartment on the top floor of the Ground Building. Yes, the apartment has been trying to fix itself, but each night she tends to destroy it once more. Thankfully with the warmer weather the mixed breed will be returning to sleeping at the bottom of the lake once more, but thinking of her move she's gotten something else on her mind.

She opens her large, fanged mouth and speaks in a slightly gravely voice.]

Talking book. I have heard tell that in this land is the ocean. This is true, is it not? In which direction is this ocean?

[It's always been a dream of her's to see an ocean. Her extra long, scaled fingers grip the book tightly just thinking about it. She had put off searching for it until she felt she had secured herself a safe territory, but she's learned that Luceti probably won't let that ever happen.]

Is it as any ocean you have visited in your world? Or is it unique as are many items in this world? What of fish? Large monsters of the sea? Does there exist a place where one can stand and not see the end of the water?

[Tell her stories of oceans, Luceti. She's planning a trip and is full of excitement.]

[Xzana awoke deep in the woods from her visit with the Malnosso. While she has never felt cold she knew that if she stays out dressed only in the new feather dress she was currently wearing she'd fall into her hibernation state. Something she was loathe to do while out in the open. Only as she moved quickly to find a safe place to hide while asleep she found that she wasn't tired at all. Her movements were still fluid and not becoming stiff. This had never happened to her before.

Deciding to take advantage of this she goes on a hunt. Several hunts. It's been a long time since she's had a full belly. It tasted so much better than what was in the store too. While hunting it was impossible to miss where the creatures were talking of Moro's return. This excites her so she keeps an eye out for the wolf during her travels.

Eventually she figures out what the Malnosso has done when she tries to use her powers to manipulate some snow. Only to find electrical bursts surging from her instead. It startles her and the rush of electricity though her body is a new sensation that she has never felt before. It was frightening and exhilarating all at the same time.

It's the first time she's been out of touch with her water element and in tune with another. For a long time she stands there unsure what to do. Eventually she finds her journal and opens it up.]

Those people. The Malnosso. When they change things. It will always go away. This is correct to think, is it not?

[The one other time they had taken her she had eventually gone back to normal, but this was a bit more scary. She didn't want to stay linked forever to an element that frankly scared her half to death most of the time.

Xzana will mostly be taking the opportunity to stay in the forests, but eventually she'll be walking her way through town. Careful anyone who comes near her as she's having trouble controlling her new element. Sometimes a stray electrical charge may escape. It can rang from making your hair and clothes static to a random low blot of electricity sent your way. She's trying to make her way to the ground building where she'll stay each night in case she suddenly goes back to normal and can no longer remain outside in nothing but a new feather dress.]

[Normally one who sleeps away the winter months, Xzana has once again opted to move into human housing so that she can be awake during it. So long as she keeps warm enough she shouldn't fall asleep and as long as she has the thing called a bathtub she can suit her needs of being submerged for long periods of time.

However, a bathtub is much more cramped than the lake she is use to during warmer weather and she simply must get out once in awhile. Today she has decided to chance spending a little time outside. She's a bit hesitant at first, seeing the white drops falling from the sky, but after a little longer she starts to have some fun.

She prances about, kicking up snow in her bare, clawed feet. Wearing nothing but a flora dress she found randomly at the clothing shop she's a bit odd to see around. She'll spend time skating through the rivers that run through the village as she makes her way to the grocery store. She'll eat her fill of some of the raw meat there before carrying an arm full of it back to the ground building. At least being alone on the top floor means it shouldn't smell too bad when that meat slowly starts to rot.

Feeling full and happy she opens her journal to speak into it. Still full of energy, but not wanting to spend more time outside and chance freezing into place. The one winter she had spent awake in her homeland her friend Casimir would read from his books.]

Humans. Have you any stories to share? I do not mind if they are long ones. Perhaps ones of battle and victories? [Those were always exciting.]

[Once more the Malnosso had changed her. She hated it when they did that. She still wasn't sure how, but it was frightening to be so small and vulnerable again. More than that it left her thinking of her home and family left behind. How were they doing? Were they all alright? She knew they must be. She was just one dragon after all. The world back home would not stop turning without her.

So why did she ache as she thought about her home now?

She tried to distract herself. Moving around the different community buildings as she would need to move back into one soon. Winter was coming and she did not want to sleep through it with the Malnosso about. She visits the grocery store where she'll help herself to some of the raw meat that is there. It doesn't taste as good as the stuff she catches, but it will do again for winter.

Yet, her mind keeps falling back towards her home. How lucky she was that her body adapted well to the changes she went through growing up. Not all born with mixed blood was so lucky. Her mind spent a lot of time focusing on her mother too. Is this what the humans called homesickness? It's awful and she decides to pull out her journal to find out how they dealt with it.]

Those who miss your homes in this world. How do you fix it?

[After some time walking around town she'll be heading back to hang out near the lake.]

( Introspective )

[Confused, hungry, and tired Xzana wanders around Luceti for several days after the attack. A dazed and confused look typically on her face as she tries to figure out just who she is and what she should do now. Dressed in a mismatch of a green skit, an orange sweater, and lacking any footwear she wanders about just about everywhere. Making sure to at least stop into Seventh Heaven where she's hoping someone has gone back to work. She was so hungry, but had forgotten how to work a stove.

The clothing shop where she will attempt to dress herself in more fashion disasters. She's at least changing her clothes now, fashion can be a step later on. For now she'll be happy to look like an 80s reject.

Standing inside the fountain each day as she tries to figure out where she belongs. Her old life says the forest, her new life says she belongs in town with people inside buildings. Yet, neither feel right anymore.

The other thing she has trouble dealing with is missing people. She's never really missed people before, not like this. Kitten had been so young, was she okay? Was she having as hard of a time as she was? Had she even been real? Had anyone she talked with been real? She can't not know any longer and opens up her waterlogged journal.]

Kitten, are you there? Derek- [A pause. How should she word this?] Are you real? I am Xzana. I look different now. I am not a human. I am an ani- I am a creature you would call a dragon. Or a nymph. I have both in me.

Are you there? If you are real are you alright? I did not mean to lie to you. I did not know what I was. It was not my trick.

[Is that all she should say?] I am at the fountain. I will be here for - [Time, she had used it as a human. How do humans use time. Ugh, she couldn't quite remember.] -a couple hours? I will be here until the sun leaves the sky. [Better. That's all that needs to be said, right? Right.]

I-

I hope you were real.

[She quickly closes the book and waits for a response.]

[Someone has been grumpy. Grumpy and if she believed dragons could sulk then sulking too. A whole lot of sulking. Her run in with Ganon, the fights after, and then the village acting unusually odd has put her into a bit of mood. She's never not felt safe in the rain before and now that illusion has been broken and if she can't feel safe in the rain how can she feel safe without it? Then there's the droids that just seem to come out of no where half the time.

She's retreated to the southern lake for some time and has remained hidden and sleeping until what injuries she had suffered the day that Ganon had invaded her mind had healed. Yet, there was a feeling of unease that sleeping just wasn't taking away. That violated feeling of her own mind and thoughts not being her own. She takes out her journal for a moment.]

Stay away from the southern lake for some time. I do not wish to be disturbed.

[That's enough warning, right? No need to explain past that. She wants to be left alone. Usually she has no problems sharing what she has claimed as her territory with anyone, but not today. Perhaps not for awhile longer. She wants time to think.

Anyone who missed the message (or just wants to call her bluff because she really doesn't want any confrontation) and is around the southern lake or near the river that runs into it will get a grumpy girl who will be doing her best to scare people off. Get off my lawn you crazy, Lucetians!]

[The weather finally warming up so she can spend time outside again and the first thing on Xzana's mind is to go hunting. People wandering the woods today can find this large white winged, long limb, and blue scaled covered girl either in the middle of a hunt of some small game or perhaps she's currently trying to eat this nice deer and you've interrupted. She can be found all over the forest today.

Eventually her stomach will get full and she'll be running around town. She doesn't trust Luceti's weather just yet to stay warm and she doesn't want to be too far yet from the building she's claimed as home. Of course, that doesn't stop her from wanting to explore and stretch her winter cramped limbs.

Xzana will be sitting on your roof. It's where all the cool kids hang out after all. Surely you don't have a problem with this. Look, you let birds sit there and everything. Maybe you hear her bare feet tromping around up there. Maybe you just came home from shopping. Maybe you were about to head into Good Spirits or the grocery store. Either way, there is now a girl standing there, looking over Luceti. She's happy right where she is, dressed in a new feather's sundress and nothing more.

She'll hang out on your roof until she decides for a different view and eventually moves onto a new one. Or if you tell her to scram and she decides to listen.]

[Xzana in her over hundred seasons of life had only stayed awake for one winter before this and during that time she was learning the human language and some of their culture. Now, now there was just sitting around, staring out the window, and just waiting for the time she can go outside again.

Dragons can be known for their patience, but this one is still fairly young and bored. Yet she can't really leave Community House Six. For those that live there will be a woman still dressed in heavy winter clothes that she had been given from Spock during her time as a human running up and down the stairs.

She will also be raiding any of the share kitchens that have any meat in it. Mmmhmm, meat! She has learned how amazing the fridges are in that there's usually meat in there. You may also find that your meat has been randomly vanishing from your fridge since she moved in.

Eventually running around with no purpose through the building also bores her so she starts flipping around the journals.]

Humans, this season does not seem ready to end. Are there any of you who enjoy this season of ice? How are you able to enjoy it?

Even the sun grows weary of the cold, I have always enjoyed the night, but I wish the sun to stay longer and give its warmth to us. Why must this season last so very long?! These blasted Malnosso, if they were not around I could be awakening to the smells of new life and green grass already! [She snorts. And no she is not pouting! Dragons do not pout!

...okay, she's pouting.]

[Those who know Xzana may be glad that she finally has a brand new white sun dress on after her visit with the Malnosso. Only the half breed isn't exactly a half breed anymore. Her scales, claws, fangs, and large set of white wings are now gone. So is her ability to not feel cold anymore as she awakes shivering near the fountain.

She's never experienced anything so awful before. The snow touching her feet actually hurt it was so cold. Wait, those aren't her feet those look like a human's feet! She opens her mouth to let out a startled roar.]

SHRIIIIIIEEEEK!

[Ah! That wasn't a roar at all! That wasn't even close! What had those people done to her!? Her teeth start to clatter and nothing she can do will stop it. She has no clue how to be human and takes off running for the first building she sees a human enter which happens to be Good Spirits.

It's a little better. The floor isn't as cold as the snow but she can't stop this annoying shaking and what are all these little bumps on her skin? Not knowing that rubbing could warm her a bit she stands shivering in a quiet corner. Staring in a bit of fear any anyone who comes in. How was she suppose to protect herself now?

She's also staring out the window. She knows eventually she's going to have to go out there again even if it's just to go to the bathroom. How could the outside be so uninviting? She never pictured that it would be so terrible before, but it was so cold and the cold was painful.]

Th-they s-s-shall pay for t-t-this.

[Anyone dare approach the skiddish newly made human cowering in the corner of the bar? If not she'll huddle there until she's forced out of the bar. And don't worry about time breaking! SHOW THAT TIME WHO'S BOSS!]

[Ever wondered what it would be like if a human suddenly transformed into a very large dragon in the middle of a building?

You'd get a big mess is what you'd get!

For those who live in Community Building 5 a good section of your roof will be missing until it fixes itself. The droids have come to take Xzana away and she doesn't very much like it. While they were expecting to eventually have to deal with an angry, roaring, flying dragon who was currently also attacking them with water attacks - it doesn't exactly make things easier.

Xzana will be causing destruction wherever you may want it as she flees the droids! Eventually the cold will get to her and she'll end up freezing so the droids can carry off a nice dragon-cicle! Until then feel free to have her crash through your house if you want! She won't mind at all!]

(Will still be around with Vash! But needed to lighten my load for a bit as life is getting a little stressful! Use this post for CR building if you want to help someone out of rubble she caused, find your house a mess, ect! If you'd like Xzana to tag you a bit I'll be slow, but around so let me know and I'll tag!)

[At first Xzana had been excited to awaken that morning and find that it was raining. She always felt more full of life outside the lake she has been calling home when it rains. She would usually have started to hibernate by now, but with these tricky Malnosso around she’s been trying to stay awake as much as possible and it hasn’t gotten too cold just yet.

Which is one of the reasons she has never experienced freezing rain before. Being that she usually sleeps through winter, and with her excitement she ignores just how bitter cold this water hitting her is. It’s not snow after all, it’s water!

It’s when her movements start to slow that she realize that this weather is slowly freezing her blood and forcing her into her hibernate state. Only now she’s in town and too far to make it back to the lake. She tries to make it to the room she’s claimed in community housing five, but she’s lingered in this strange rain too long.

Anyone around the path can find a frozen girl with blue scales and a dirty new feather dress on. Very literally frozen solid, or at least, on her way to be. If you choose to find her completely frozen and starting to ice over she will be unable to answer until she warms up a bit, but she is not asleep. So she’ll remember if you were rude or helpful to her while she is unable to move!]

(OOC: Don’t worry about timeline breaking. I’ll just punch right through it! Please give me some indication in your tag if you want to run into the dragon/water nymph girl before she realizes she’s freeze, just before, or after!)

[There is one non-human who is very much enjoying this holiday. The drafts she still does not understand so for her, it's like it's not even happening. What is happening is all this wonderful mist all over the place. Not to mention all the plump and large rats and bats to eat. Finally! A decent food supply!

Xzana will be running around in her dirty white feather dress as usual. She's torn one shoulder off of it and has tied it together again, so now it hangs a bit awkwardly on her. Not that she cares as she runs around devouring rats in her bare feet. Catch her anywhere around town or in the forest. She's starting to grow quite the belly on herself.

And even though she's feeling well prepared for winter now, she's never been one who really likes to sleep all winter. Thanks to a certain kappa she's decided to investigate some of the human buildings. She'll be entering the community houses at odd hours over the next few days, but she's a bit skittish and probably won't stay long if you try to talk to her. Even less if you're angry at finding she's been raiding the shared kitchens. What? Food here is free!

It's the people in Community Building 6 that are going to have the real problem. Xzana has found that she likes the high floor with no one else on it. She has also discovered that there are rivers inside this new place that she can turn on and off herself. Not that she has any plans to turn them off. Hope the people in the lower floors like the sound of water and some dripping from their ceilings.]

[The weather was getting colder, this fact had not been lost on Xzana. It worries her in fact slightly. The time for hibernation would be here sooner than she'd like and the animal population of the forest was no where near good enough to support a dragon who's preparing for it.

So she slinks into town. Deciding to give the free food thing another try. No raw meat is safe from her great hunger. She tries the market first and it doesn't take her long to find the meat section. Only the "skin" on the meat is nothing like she have ever come across before. BLECH! The plastic gets stuck between her teeth and in her throat.

After a bit of coughing and hacking she spits it up.] THIS MEAT HAS BEEN TAINTED!

[Finding very little else that interests her or she recognizes as being edible (even the bread was covered in taint!) she'll give Seventh Heaven another try. She managed to find food there last time.

Only she still feels the need to fill her stomach. So the bakery is next on her list, while that bread isn't "tainted" a dragon needs more than bread alone. She'll just follow her nose. Trying to find food that isn't guarded by humans and hopefully isn't cooked she can be spotted all around the village.]

[Xzana was finally convinced that the sudden and strange influx of humans was really done and began emerging from the bottom of the lake more and more. Between feeling less crowded and the heavy rain she is in a remarkably good mood.

She dances in the rain for a bit and climbs a few trees. Then finally checks out that strange book that is always following her around. She had been told it was magic, but being unable to read it's never been something she cared much about. That is until she realized it talks! Listen to all the different voices!

Huh, but then the voices pause. She gives the book a shake. Huh, how do you get this silly thing to work. She drops it on the ground and bats at it. Managing to turn the video function on by mistake. She bounces back and forth for the camera in the rain. Prodding the book now and then.]

Talk magic book! [She circles the book, waiting for it to respond.] Speak again! [She gives it a gentle shove before jumping back a bit and running from it a bit before coming back.] Are you tired, book?

[Today she is full of energy and wanting to play. She'll be in possibly the best mood if anyone feels like braving the heavy rain and spot her playing with the book near the lake.]

[Today Xzana has ripped off the binding that had held her broken Luceti wing still. She gives it a test flap and no pain. At last. She's been grounded for far too long. Most of the day will be spent trying to learn how to fly with that new annoying set of smaller wings. It's a bit awkward and uncomfortable, but she slowly starts to get the hang of it.

Feel free to find her fluttering from tree branch to tree branch on the outside of the village. The trees are a bit thinner there. Ugh, she feels a bit like a hatchling again.

Then later, deeper in the forest she tests how these annoying new wing affects her other two forms. She tries the form most like her neutral one first.

She'll be spending most of her time in this form near the river and lakes. She also heard this place can make powers weaker. So she can be caught standing on top of the lake with a sprout of water winding around her. Testing how the water reacts to her calls and commands.

Once she feels comfortable with that she changes into her final form.

In this form she will be walking through the forest to try to find a clearing where she can practice her flying with the new Luceti wings. Feel free to come across the dragon at any time as she will be spending the rest of the day in this form.]
