[The weather was getting colder, this fact had not been lost on Xzana. It worries her in fact slightly. The time for hibernation would be here sooner than she'd like and the animal population of the forest was no where near good enough to support a dragon who's preparing for it.

So she slinks into town. Deciding to give the free food thing another try. No raw meat is safe from her great hunger. She tries the market first and it doesn't take her long to find the meat section. Only the "skin" on the meat is nothing like she have ever come across before. BLECH! The plastic gets stuck between her teeth and in her throat.

After a bit of coughing and hacking she spits it up.] THIS MEAT HAS BEEN TAINTED!

[Finding very little else that interests her or she recognizes as being edible (even the bread was covered in taint!) she'll give Seventh Heaven another try. She managed to find food there last time.

Only she still feels the need to fill her stomach. So the bakery is next on her list, while that bread isn't "tainted" a dragon needs more than bread alone. She'll just follow her nose. Trying to find food that isn't guarded by humans and hopefully isn't cooked she can be spotted all around the village.]

[If she comes by the bakery, she's bound to run into a trench-coat wearing fellow who is making his daily donut cinnabon run. The bakery has gotten a lot of traffic from him since he arrived.]

[The moment he sees her is also the same moment he bites down on his cinnabon, so he has no chance of saying anything to her. Tsuzuki hasn't seen her in town at all until now.]

[He probably hasn't seen the long imbed girl before because she does tend to avoid the village. In her tattered and dirty new feather's dress now months old she paws through the bread. Eating some here and there.

She snorts after she searches a couple more areas.]

There is nothing but bread in here!

[Hey, he's met stranger people before. Tsuzuki swallows the bite he was working on. As he speaks, he wraps the rest of his cinnabon up in a napkin and puts it in his pocket, because he can't very well leave his dessert on the table. What if someone steals it?]

[Poor kid. To Tsuzuki she looks like she needs a home and a some clean clothes. Not to mention a hot meal.]

I do, but the forest cannot safely support the hunger I get as the weather turns colder.

No, scales are crunchy. [Scales are her favorite!] The skin in the other house. When I bit into it, then skin tried to choke me and became stuck in my teeth. It has been tainted.

[Sanji's going to be in the kitchen nearly all day, being the only chef on duty when Hayate's not around. But occasionally he'll poke his head out to see how his customers are doing]

[Psh, that room where people sit around uselessly. The last time she was there people yelled at her for sniffing at their food.

Nope. She knows where the good stuff hides. Don't mind her as she walks right by Sanji while he's out checking on his customers into the kitchen. Hmmm, now, where's the beef?]

She pulls on the handle to the oven. Hopefully Sanji didn't have anything cooking.]

It's to wrap it up so it stays fresh longer. Like a magic newspaper. [Or whatever isn't used to cover your food.]

It's still free, just covered up like that so humans can take it home to eat.

Yes, I know of bubbles. My litter mates and I use to try to create them when we were younger. [Can't blow bubbles very easily after all when you don't breath air.]

Okay. This wrapping is like the covering of a bubble, eh? It keeps what's inside it fresher and safer, sealed from air or bugs, but you can't eat the bubble wrapping itself, because it's not food. You're lucky you didn't choke on it, or completely swallow it.
