[When Xzana awoke the first thing she realized was that she was NOT in her lake as she should be. The new clothes didn't phase her as she was too busy trying to figure out what happened to all the water, then there was the discomfort to her back. Reaching back she found something was attached there! What was going on!?]

Who did this!? What sorcery is this!? Come out!

[Scared and confused Xzana does what she thinks is the smart choice and pulls. Wanting the offending thing OFF of her. At the sound of the snap the comes and the pain that quickly follows tell her right away what a bad idea it was. She snaps her head back in a roar.]

RWWRRRRRAAAARRRRH!

[The half breed dragon stumbles towards town. Her small Luceti broken wing dangling at an odd angle between her large pair. She growls under her breath as she searches for water, hoping to keep any creature who may find her an easy meal right now away, as she blindly stumbles her way around the edge of town.]

(OOC: Warning, as she's injured her flight or fight is on high alert. She WILL attack any character that just rushes up at her. Approaching her slowly will be fine, just know she'll bite if someone gets in her personal space too quickly. Also don't be afraid to break time and space in this post!)

I said stay back! [She's disappointed that her attack missed. She moves backwards wanting to be away from Saori.]

Not until you calm down and LISTEN.

[Saori's response is punctuated by a thunderclap, a random bolt of lighting streaking across the sky, hopefully enough to get the creature to at least listen a LITTLE. Headstrong gods aren't usually good at dealing with...whatever you are...]

You are hurt. It'll be worse if you don' sit still and keep rampaging around swinging claws at people.

[The thunderbolt does make Xzana jump. What the fuck was that!? There's no sign of a storm in the sky. (Even though she wishes it would start raining.) Yet she doesn't quite get yet that it came from the person in front of her.]

I'm fine! You're the one not listening!

BECAUSE YOU'RE ACTING LIKE A FOOL, RAMPAGING AROUND LIKE AN ANIMAL! YOU ARE BLEEDING AND YOUR WING IS BROKEN. IF YOU DON'T FIX IT YOU WILL DIE!

[Saori's hair is standing on end, writing like snakes in the rising winds, and her voice echoes across the area like rumbling thunder. Two bolts of lightning strike the ground beside her, sending up a shower of dirt. Do you really want to ignore this display?]

[There is a reason she's acting like a wild animal. She very much is one and with this display of some of one of her most feared elements there is only one course of action left to her.

Run. Terrified Xzana gives into her flight response and turns and runs away from the woman. She doesn't know where she's going and her wing is on fire, but all her brain can focus on right now is to: Get away from the woman who can control lightening.]

[Not at all unexpected, if the creature WAS an animal, even if it could speak and was clearly intelligent. Maybe she could corral it somewhere...? As if on cue a soothing rain fell from the sky, and a strong breeze picked up to one side of the fleeing creature, hopefully driving it in a manageable direction...]

[The soothing rain does more than corral Xzana. She actually stops, moving her face up towards the falling rain. It felt so good and it helped refresh her. She could already feel the fever that had been rising within her start to cool.

But more than that, she now had enough water that she felt she could possibly protect herself if she had to. Although with a broken wing fighting was not the wise choice. She turns her head back, seeing if the magic user was still following her before she continues to move on.]

[Saori, of course, has not stopped following. She approaches again, slightly more cautiously than before, just in case the creature tried to bite again. It'd earn itself a swift punch if it did, she'd decided. Being helpful...was irritating sometimes]

Your wing needs to be looked at.

[Feeling braver with the rain Xzana turns to face Saori once more. Backing away still, but at least no longer running.] I can take care of myself!

You obviously cannot.

[A single step forward, ready to spring if necessary.]

I am Saori. Who are you?

I have lived many years on my own! Can take care of myself! [Xzana shows her teeth again and steps back. Saori may notice that there is a puddle of water collecting around Xzana's feet and it follows her as she continues to step back.] Do not question my ability to care for myself!

I ASKED you a question. Answer it.

[Her voice is commanding, and she does notice the water collecting down there. Some sort of magic, no doubt. Rather than risk it, she slackens the rain, but intensifies the wind in wide circle around them, a swirling vortex siphoning off the water bit by bit]

You clearly are new, and do not know how this place works. Or you'd have not torn at your own wing.

You ignore my requests to leave me in peace and say that I can not care for myself! You do not deserve to know my name!

[This wind. It makes her more nervous as the rain slacks. No, no, no! She needed that rain!]

Then I am going to call you the Beast. Only a beast ignores advice to save one's life in a panic.

[She puts her hand on her hip and takes another step closer]

Let me see how bad the break is. If your wing is damage, it can kill you here.

You've given me no reason to trust you! If my wing can kill me then so be it! I can take care of it myself. [The pool of water starts to disappear, as it's sucked up threw her feet.]

I have offered to help you, I have given you my name. I am not asking for your trust, I am asking you to stop making your situation worse. I am the Daughter of Wind and Rain. If I wanted to hurt you, I would have done so.

[The rain resumes when she sees you absorbing the water. Don't make her regret it...]

And if you can truly take care of yourself, then why did you absorb my rainwater.

[And yet Xzana's skin stays dry even during the downpour. Looking healthier every minute that pass. Although that wing will take much longer.

Oh fine.]

My mother named me Xzana.

Xzana? That's a very pretty name. I told you my name. What...are you?

[Saori stays dry as well, the rain just...ignoring her existence.]

[Xzana straightens up, holding her chin high.] My mother was a changeling dragon with an affinity to water. My father for what I know was that of a water nymph.

Intriguing. I've met neither such creatures on my travels.

[The rain stays the same, but she takes another step closer]

And, do you have your journal, little one?

Well, nymphs are very shy creatures and dragons have always kept more to ourselves. However, meeting and knowing are very different things.

[Xzana goes ahead and takes a step back. It will take more than a little talk to make her want anyone near her while injured. And - did this human just call her a little one? Only the elder dragons still call her that!]

I am not so little. I have many more seasons then I'd look to a human on me. [And journal? Why the heck would she have a journal? Besides she was too busy trying to figure out what was on her back to notice that book next to her when she woke up here.]

[That draws a raised eyebrow, Saori genuinely wondering if this creature thought she was human. Was it really that difficult for mortals to figure out?]

And to me you are but a child. I am far from human. Or [A smirk] did you miss that?

Well, I know that you are a magic user. That is not that rare yet among the humans.
