[When Xzana awoke the first thing she realized was that she was NOT in her lake as she should be. The new clothes didn't phase her as she was too busy trying to figure out what happened to all the water, then there was the discomfort to her back. Reaching back she found something was attached there! What was going on!?]

Who did this!? What sorcery is this!? Come out!

[Scared and confused Xzana does what she thinks is the smart choice and pulls. Wanting the offending thing OFF of her. At the sound of the snap the comes and the pain that quickly follows tell her right away what a bad idea it was. She snaps her head back in a roar.]

RWWRRRRRAAAARRRRH!

[The half breed dragon stumbles towards town. Her small Luceti broken wing dangling at an odd angle between her large pair. She growls under her breath as she searches for water, hoping to keep any creature who may find her an easy meal right now away, as she blindly stumbles her way around the edge of town.]

(OOC: Warning, as she's injured her flight or fight is on high alert. She WILL attack any character that just rushes up at her. Approaching her slowly will be fine, just know she'll bite if someone gets in her personal space too quickly. Also don't be afraid to break time and space in this post!)

[Every so often she stops for long periods of time. Looking for broken branches or footprints.]

This is as far back as I can remember. It's not were I started, but it's all a bit hazy now.

[Saori's eyes look around as well, for snapped twigs and even smaller clues. After looking for a while she sees a few, and she's really glad that she'd learned to hunt with Tesshin's Inugami all those years ago]

[Xzana follows behind quietly. If Saori can trace her way back the spot Xzana woke up will be given away by the few stray feathers she pulled out while breaking the wing.]

[It takes her a LONG time, but she manages. She loses the trail, but where she can't find the way perhaps Xzana can. After an hour or two...they find their way...]

Well, then it may help you to know that this book...allows long distance talking between two people. Voices, like with a phone. Or magic.

[She dismissively waves off the question, not entirely sure how to describe them herself. Instead she looks around for the dragon's journal]

Alright. [Xzana moves slow in her search, not wanting to bend over with her broken wing if she can help it.]

[She keeps looking, but has little luck. Maybe you will?]

[Xzana... is getting a little bored. If it wasn't a task assigned to her by a god she would have given up long ago.] Not yet. [No wait!] I think it's here. [She bends down and picks up a waterlogged book. She gives it a sniff.] It doesn't smell anything special.

[Saori looks at it, and sure enough it has Xzana's name on it]

Its yours, and it is special. Open it.

[Xzana turns the book over as if trying to figure out how it works.] Did you bewitch the book? Will it wear off?

Xzana, heavens above, no! I'm not that kind of god! That book is a piece of human technology. It works because its a machine. If I...bewitched the book, it wouldn't do that...it'd be related to storms and things.
