[When Xzana awoke the first thing she realized was that she was NOT in her lake as she should be. The new clothes didn't phase her as she was too busy trying to figure out what happened to all the water, then there was the discomfort to her back. Reaching back she found something was attached there! What was going on!?]

Who did this!? What sorcery is this!? Come out!

[Scared and confused Xzana does what she thinks is the smart choice and pulls. Wanting the offending thing OFF of her. At the sound of the snap the comes and the pain that quickly follows tell her right away what a bad idea it was. She snaps her head back in a roar.]

RWWRRRRRAAAARRRRH!

[The half breed dragon stumbles towards town. Her small Luceti broken wing dangling at an odd angle between her large pair. She growls under her breath as she searches for water, hoping to keep any creature who may find her an easy meal right now away, as she blindly stumbles her way around the edge of town.]

(OOC: Warning, as she's injured her flight or fight is on high alert. She WILL attack any character that just rushes up at her. Approaching her slowly will be fine, just know she'll bite if someone gets in her personal space too quickly. Also don't be afraid to break time and space in this post!)

[For her part Xzana is just so pleased to see the water at first she hardly even takes notice that there is someone standing near it. Although her fevered attention snaps back to him when she hears his voice.

Hear, but not fully comprehend right away.] Stay back! Don't touch me!

[She doesn't even notices the dragon of her own kind right yet. At first all she can think of is she doesn't want anything near her.]

[At the touch Xzana ducks her head into the water and inhales deeply. The water helps, but it still hurts so she clamps her teeth together and tries to wait it out.]

[Xzana stumbles as she looks up towards the voice. She starts to show off her fangs, hoping to scare off whoever is speaking. That is until she sees the horn coming from his head.

Is that a- but they're all suppose to be dead! And a horse.

Give her a moment. Her fevered brain needs a few minutes to comprehend what she's seeing.]

[...Yeah that. Stopping and staring thing doesn't indicate all-right-ness at all. Ondorus is approaching.]

[She might be a little odd looking, but she's a pegasus, in the flesh! ...And the fur.

But once Xzana turns to face her, she'll tentatively take a few steps closer.]

Well, you probably shouldn't have done that. The wings they give us are totally sensitive. I even heard that you can die if they both get wrecked.

[And this is when he is going to let out a sigh.]

I'm going to be honest. This place is full of humans. [And some people who look human enough.] If you're going to be this untrusting to every single one you meet, you're not going to get anywhere.

[He points in the direction of town.]

The village is that way. There's stores, people. Also a river that runs through town. I'm sure it won't be much trouble to find water once you get there.

[He shakes his head as he walks closer.]

[He steps up next to her and waits until she's comfortable enough to put a little weight on him. He'll try to support her without touching her wings and help her along to the fountain up ahead after that.]

It can be a jarring thing to come here so suddenly. I was confused when I came, too.

[Okita may notice that as she gets closer to Xzana that the air around her is very dry. As if all the moister was being sucked out of it.]

These wings... are not mine.

[That's not a no!] You have the horn of a unicorn. [She bows low with her arms spread out wide.] You may have the last blood of unicorns. [Someone doesn't realize she's in a different world.]

[She curls her lip. Obviously not liking the answer, but she's decided she's done trying to get any information from this human.]

Fine. [She backs away from Bruce, not wanting to take her eyes off of him. Not that she has any plans to head to the village when she's out of his site.]

[Xzana suddenly remembers the manners she was taught to show unicorns. Bowing low with her arms outstretched before Dash.] But these small wings are not my own.

[In fact, she'll turn around to show that she's been saddled up with a pair herself.]

But them's the breaks around here. Everyone gets wings tacked onto 'em, and they're really vulnerable.

[Was she that paranoid? Did she really think he would turn on her the second she tried to walk away? Man. He is sure that whatever place this person comes from, it must be hell for them. He's going to turn his back on her completely. Maybe she will feel more comfortable leaving with him like this?]

It is a clean break- very close to the joint, however. It needs to be set and bound so that it might heal properly.

[And she doesn't have any supplies for binding the wing on her at the moment. Not unless she wants to tear her shirt. Which she may very well have to do- getting this woman into a clinic would be impossible.]

[Weird...It's like he's crossing a desert in the space of just a few feet to get in close to her.]

None of us are supposed to have these wings. It happens when you arrive here for some reason.

[He carefully buoys her weight, even though he feels like he really needs a drink of water. Like now. Weird.]

No, feathered wings... from mom. The water in them... [As there is indeed water hidden in the vines of those long wings] ...are my father.

[The only answer he gets in reply is a soft growl as Xzana slips away into the bushes.]

[Xzana looks up, her eyes full of excitement and pride.] You would heal me? [Unicorns have always had a good relationship with dragons, but it was still so exciting to possibly be healed by one.]
