[When Xzana awoke the first thing she realized was that she was NOT in her lake as she should be. The new clothes didn't phase her as she was too busy trying to figure out what happened to all the water, then there was the discomfort to her back. Reaching back she found something was attached there! What was going on!?]

Who did this!? What sorcery is this!? Come out!

[Scared and confused Xzana does what she thinks is the smart choice and pulls. Wanting the offending thing OFF of her. At the sound of the snap the comes and the pain that quickly follows tell her right away what a bad idea it was. She snaps her head back in a roar.]

RWWRRRRRAAAARRRRH!

[The half breed dragon stumbles towards town. Her small Luceti broken wing dangling at an odd angle between her large pair. She growls under her breath as she searches for water, hoping to keep any creature who may find her an easy meal right now away, as she blindly stumbles her way around the edge of town.]

(OOC: Warning, as she's injured her flight or fight is on high alert. She WILL attack any character that just rushes up at her. Approaching her slowly will be fine, just know she'll bite if someone gets in her personal space too quickly. Also don't be afraid to break time and space in this post!)

[ Ikki frequently goes into the town proper, exploring within a safe confine - after notifying her family, and always with her journal on hand. Any sign of anything interesting in the least is promptly explored and examined, so when she hears someone stumbling nearby, she goes to see what's up.

She sees the winged lady, and blinks. ] Hey, your wings are big! [ She can't see the tiny pair from her vantage point or angle, so instead just tilts her head curiously from a little ways back, not sure what to make of this. ]

[Xzana jumps at the sound of a voice. Cursing herself for being so sick she hadn't noticed someone coming near her. She curls her lips back, wanting to show off all of her fangs and look as threatening as possible.]

Stay back!

[breezing]

[ Ikki looks more impressed than intimidated. ] Hey, your teeth are all sharp! Did you know that? They're all like - sharp and stuff!

[ It finally dawns on her that the woman seems troubled, and the little girl frowns. ] Are you okay, ma'am?

[elongatedsmile]

[A human child. Xzana doesn't want to hurt a child if she doesn't have to. She knows a mother's anger is not one you want to bring on yourself.]

I'm fine! So stay back!

[breezing]

[ Oh, wait. ] Hey, you're a New Feather, huh? You've got the dress. D'you need help? This is Luceti, and there're things you probably should know. Like, don't hurt your wings 'cause they're your life, and you don't need money for things, and your normal stuff is probably at the item shop. [ these are the main pointers Ikki has gathered in her short time here, and she's handed out that advice more than once. ]

[Oh god. A talkative human child.] I do not need help. [Although, maybe this talkative child knows where some water is.] Tell me, child, where is there water here? A lake, or a river?

[breezing]

[ Ikki nods, cheerfully. ] We've got a river! There're three branches, all of which go through town, but a closer source of water is the fountain, but you might not wanna drink from it. Did you need water to drink? I can get you some!

I'm Ikki, by the way! What's your name?

[elongatedsmile]

No. I need to swim. Not to drink. [Well, and to breath, but the healing she'd get from it is what she really wants right now.]

My mother named me Xzana.

[breezing]

'Kay. Well, come this way, then! I know a shortcut! [ meaning she's going to be leading Xzana through yards and over things and under things. :|b ]

Xzana? [ Ikki clearly has trouble pronouncing it, but looks interested. ] That's a pretty name! Hey, what's your world like? Maybe someone else you know is here. I don't know lots of people yet, but maybe I do know someone you know!

[elongatedsmile]

[Ugh. She's dizzy, sick, and in pain. These are too many questions.]

How far from the water are we?

[breezing]

[ Ikki frowns again, pausing and taking a step closer. ] Not far. You don't look okay. [ an uncertain expression flickers across her face. ] Maybe I should get someone?

[elongatedsmile]

No. I am fine. [Although, just wait until they get to the first thing to climb over or under.] I just want water.

[breezing]

Do you live in water? [ Speaking of, they're about up to the point where Ikki's going to take them over a low wall into a garden. What's trespassing? ]

[elongatedsmile]

Yes. I do. [Trespassing? Xzana doesn't know herself. Maybe they should ask an adult some time.

Although dictionary later. Xzana pauses at the wall, looking at it as if it was a cliff side, but showing weakness can get a creature killed. She reaches up and pulls herself up and over. Yet, the motion causes her large wings to bump into her broken Luceti wing.]

RAWR! [A animal like growl escapes her as she drops to her feet on the other side. Resting for a moment against the wall.]

[breezing]

[ That does give Ikki a flash of the broken wing. She looks instantly worried, reaching out. ] Hey! You're hurt. Your wings from here. Those are your life! What happened? We should go to the clinic, or - or Katara can help you, maybe - [ she's not sure. Ikki's never seen anyone with a broken wing, here. ]

[elongatedsmile]

STAY BACK! [Xzana jumps back. Showing off her teeth again as she tries to stand tall and imposing. She's not too scared of a kid, but one can never be too careful when injured.] I just need to get to water.

[breezing]

[ Ikki thinks about this, still frowning. ] ...Can you heal yourself if you're in water? 'Cause if not you need to see someone. It's not good to let that sort of thing get worse!

[elongatedsmile]

I can. There is nymph blood in me. [That's all you need to know right? You totally know how this mixed blood thing works.]

[breezing]

[ Well, that makes the water urgency thing make a whole lot more sense, and after a second Ikki nods once, sharply, and continues walking. She's going to be taking less of her crazy route, now that she knows Xzansa is hurt. ] What's a nymph?

[elongatedsmile]

You don't know what a nymph is? [What kind of sheltered child are you?]

[breezing]

Nope! It might be something from your world. [ They're nearly there, and Ikki keeps checking to make sure she's being followed, and is trying to take an easy but quick pace. ]

[elongatedsmile]

[Xzana follows, but she weaves a little more as the minutes go by. She keeps her eyes open around here, just in case this child might be leading her into some kind of trap.]

Nymphs, they are smaller creatures who reside in their respected elements. [A pause as she has to catch her breath.] My father was a nymph from the water.

[breezing]

Oh! I'm kinda like an air nymph, then, I guess. [ Ikki holds up a hand, a small ball of air forming above it, before she drops it, letting that hand fall into a pointing gesture. ] We're at the river. D'you need help getting in, Xzana?

[elongatedsmile]

[She jumps back again when she sees the air. A magic user! She'd have to be careful around this child. However, this time she keeps her teeth hidden away. They're finally at the water and she feels calmer.]

No. Thank you Ikki. I will not forget this kindness. [She moves towards the water. Carefully making her way in. Even with only her feet in the water she starts to perk up a little bit.]

[breezing]

It's not a problem. Be careful with your wings, okay? If you lose them, you'll die. [ Ikki doesn't go away, but goes to sit at the edge of the river, crosslegged. ] It's one of the rules here that people know.
