[Voice]
[Today the journal opens up on a rather water damaged looking apartment on the top floor of the Ground Building. Yes, the apartment has been trying to fix itself, but each night she tends to destroy it once more. Thankfully with the warmer weather the mixed breed will be returning to sleeping at the bottom of the lake once more, but thinking of her move she's gotten something else on her mind.
She opens her large, fanged mouth and speaks in a slightly gravely voice.]
Talking book. I have heard tell that in this land is the ocean. This is true, is it not? In which direction is this ocean?
[It's always been a dream of her's to see an ocean. Her extra long, scaled fingers grip the book tightly just thinking about it. She had put off searching for it until she felt she had secured herself a safe territory, but she's learned that Luceti probably won't let that ever happen.]
Is it as any ocean you have visited in your world? Or is it unique as are many items in this world? What of fish? Large monsters of the sea? Does there exist a place where one can stand and not see the end of the water?
[Tell her stories of oceans, Luceti. She's planning a trip and is full of excitement.]

What are they like?
Voice
[All said very cheerfully]
Voice
They are not unintelligent! [She doesn't care if she's never met one! Totally going to side with the dragon over the human looking thing in this book.] Perhaps you are the one who is too unintelligent to understand them!
[And wait- wait a second. Did he just say?] Do you eat dragons? [She bristles slightly. Knowing it's not at all unheard of for a village of humans to kill a dragon and use it's body for food, but to hear it mentioned so casually! And she from a world where her kind have started to slowly die out!]
Voice
[Always good to know which buttons could get someone angry]
My apologies. That is just how it is on my world. There are many intelligent dragons, but a few breeds of them are the equivalent of sharks or the like.
[This one would be fun to play with]
Do I eat dragons? Why, would that be an issue?
Voice
Those sea dragons you speak of are not the same as sharks. They would be much smarter than a shark. You just do not understand them.
[She lets out of puff of air through her mouth as she scoffs.]
I do not know if it is an issue. I question it merely as humans see no problem with eating dragons, but should a dragon make a meal out of a human it then means that dragon is evil. After all, there are so many more humans than dragons. [So clearly, this makes it okay to eat humans and not dragons.]
Voice
[Colour him amused since he knows a great deal about dragons]
I think in terms of numbers the sea dragons are doing quite well, and I'd say more often than not the humans become the snack as opposed to the other way around.
[Doesn't actually eat them at all, or any meat particularly]
Voice
[And as annoyed and angry as this person was making her, it was a bit of good news to hear that dragons were doing well in their world.] Truly? The dragons are doing well in their breeding? Are you sure you are paying close attention to a creature you seem to find unintelligent?
Voice
[He kept tabs on humans for a long time after all]
The Golden dragons would agree with the assessment, for the record. As would any of the intelligent dragon breeds. Some are simply more bestial in nature.
Re: Voice
Perhaps some are more intelligent than others, but the Sea Dragons would still be more intelligent than a fish.
[If she knew just how smart sharks actually where she'd probably not be so insulted, but what she knew of them they were just large fish.]
Voice
You aren't familiar with any sea life though so how can you make that judgment? After all, you have never met a sea dragon, or a shark.
[Just going to throw that out there]
Voice
[So. There.]
