[At first Xzana had been excited to awaken that morning and find that it was raining. She always felt more full of life outside the lake she has been calling home when it rains. She would usually have started to hibernate by now, but with these tricky Malnosso around she’s been trying to stay awake as much as possible and it hasn’t gotten too cold just yet.

Which is one of the reasons she has never experienced freezing rain before. Being that she usually sleeps through winter, and with her excitement she ignores just how bitter cold this water hitting her is. It’s not snow after all, it’s water!

It’s when her movements start to slow that she realize that this weather is slowly freezing her blood and forcing her into her hibernate state. Only now she’s in town and too far to make it back to the lake. She tries to make it to the room she’s claimed in community housing five, but she’s lingered in this strange rain too long.

Anyone around the path can find a frozen girl with blue scales and a dirty new feather dress on. Very literally frozen solid, or at least, on her way to be. If you choose to find her completely frozen and starting to ice over she will be unable to answer until she warms up a bit, but she is not asleep. So she’ll remember if you were rude or helpful to her while she is unable to move!]

[ Ikki really shouldn't be out in this rain. Which is why she's heading home, of course. She's actually bundled up for the weather, and for once ordered Soren back into his pokeball so he doesn't have to take the brunt of it. She'll let him out just as soon as she gets home - so she's running, because she hates making him wait.

At least she's running until she spots Xzana. Ikki's about to wave and call out - and scold her for being out in this weather honestly for all that Xzana's older than her she needs looking after!!! - when she notices a weird sheen to her skin, and how she's just...not moving.

She detours and skids to a stop, already trying to figure out how to help. This was why she'd asked about what Xzana would do in winter! ] Xzana?! Are you okay? Oh gosh you look so cold why are you outside I thought you got a place to stay - !

[The half breed can't answer that. She's frozen stiff in mid run and sheer will alone keeps her awake. While she's glad it wasn't someone who would want to hurt her that showed up, the talkative child wasn't much better.]

[ SO COLD, XZANA. In more ways than one!!!

She's too small to actually try to move Xzana or anything sob what do you do when this happens?!

For the moment Ikki takes off her jacket and sort of drapes it on Xzana's shoulders. ...Considering how small she is this probably accomplishes very little. ] I'll be right back!!! [ she's just going to run to the item shop and get all the blankets she sees, okay. ]

[It's a good try, but without any of her own natural heat the blankets do very little. Although they do stop her from becoming more encased in ice.]

[ Well, that's...kind of good, right? She's paused the problem?

With no magical fire powers, Ikki's going to have to sort of attempt to rub Xzana's hands back to life, at least. Something! ] Maybe I should get grandpa...

[The motion gives Xzana slow movement back into her hands. Giving at least a twitch of life. It's going to take a bit more to heat her so she can move.]

[ Well, Ikki will keep trying! She's not about to let the half-dragon she'd decided was her friend freeze. ]

[It will take a long time, Xzana's body not having it's own natural heat. Eventually her fingers start to have more movement too them.

Only as her hands begin to warm, those blankets are getting heavy with ice. Slowly the Xzana statue starts to tip over, Ikki better move or she may end up trapped under the frozen dragon.]

[ Luckily for both of them Ikki is quick on her feet, so she dodges the falling dragon. And then immediately checks Xzana over, hovering nearby and looking concerned. ]

Xzana?! Oh my gosh I'm so sorry I didn't break you did I?!

[Still too frozen to speak, but luckily her legs and arms are not shattered. Although there is a crack now running up her left leg.]

[ She really hopes that's just a crack in the ice, oh gosh. ]

I wish I were bigger; I could move you, then...

[Ice and a few scales. Luckily for her species this crack is nothing! Unfortunately, even in her smaller form like this dragons are still heavy!]

[ She's just too small for this! Well, she'll go back to trying to rub warmth into Xzana's hands. ]

[She's welcome to keep rubbing, but it's going to take a bit more than that to get Xzana moving again. Maybe she'll just take a nap. Yeah, a nap is sounding kinda good right now.]

[ lsekjtrlksjrt Ikki is not sure what to do. Her next move might be to get warm water and pour it on Xzana. ]

[Good move! The warm water will help warm her up a bit more! So long as she gets enough and thaws before it refreezes.]
